Oasis Spa – Phuket

The Oasis spa was my treat to Pauline as part of our Anniversary plan
Since both of us are very much outdoor person, I found the Oasis Spa that has open air spa rooms
and it sure will be the perfect choice for her and for me! 

Raise and shine! 

Since it is about 30 mins away from the busy Patong area, we have to take about a 700baht
tuk tuk ride to the Oasis Spa at Baron Beach area.
(tips: be sure to have the spa location map and the Phone number with you, those tuk tuk driver may not know the location well enough…!)

Our spa room!  We have chosen the “Paradise of Oasis” package,
they have provided us with a very good deal when we arrive, it was a buy one get one free deal!

We liked the outdoor spa and it feels so good with the open air and sun!

It was a 4 hours spa session that comes with a stream, scrub, facial, body wrap and body massage!

Since our spa session is between lunch, Oasis spa has offered us a
simple yet delicious egg sandwich meal with chilled honey drinks!

After all, Pauline and I think the place was really nice and sure we will come back soon!

Phuket Mini Golf Challange #5

Foreword:
Ever since the suspension of my “homepage.mac.com/andrewkwan” by Apple, the blog has been quiet for a while…
its kinda depressing when you see all the pictures that I host was lost, causing a major discouragement!

Anyhow, I am back because I met people who read our blog and cheered me up! *Thumbs Up!*

So this is the 5th Mini Golf Challenge among me and Pauline!
The “Dinopark” Mini Golf is location at the Maria Phuket Resort at Karon Beach.

Here’s some pictures of the night

There is a bar and restaurant outside the Mini Golf Park
With a Baby Elephant for you to feed and take pictures!

The Park Entrance! It opens till 2400 so its a perfect thing to do after dinner!

The dinosaur mini golf park was very well designed, with lots of interesting yet challenging holes!

All the dinosaur are real and was tagged so that you will actually learn while playing.

Pauline got the ball in the hole after entering the dino’s tummy!

With volcano flames once in a while, setting up a realistic scene!

So heres the score card…..Pauline being Score 47 and me 54! Pauline won again!

Afterall, The Mini Golf park was really nice, highly recommended if you had enough of the night scene of Phuket!

#48 – For Her

Just for her :*)

Imperfect GF, Imperfect scarf :)

Our 3rd Xmas, would like to send more love than ever, since we’re not able to be together this year. something that cannot be bought.

So, sneakily went for some knitting classes, sitting among aunties most of the time, for some hours practicing with the teacher and everyone else, all for the sake of trying to knit a scarf for Andrew, hoping to surprise him! My first sample work, was so ugly (with holes and lousy stitches) that i really doubt what would turned out of my final work. Oops.

But oh well, after two months of careful knitting (alright, i’m very slow and too careful to check every row as i knit), this is the final product, my first knitted scarf! and it arrived to Andrew on time, on Xmas!

Merry Xmas, my dear. Although, it’s as imperfect as me, but i’m sure you can feel the love in it, really hope you like it.

The Nokia 5800 Duet!

When there is blackberry phones…..we got blueberry and raspberry phone!!
My Nokia 5800 in blue and hers in burgundy! 

The silly girl has been waiting and waiting for her old contract to an end so that she can enjoy her discount for buying a new phone…..oh well…the old one is really self destroying!!!!  :P So I made a step ahead for her and surprised her with this brand new phone…on MY birthday! yay

Happy Birthday starts with a Happy Meal!

Miss Pauline made me this happy meal to start my birthday! 

Packed with all sorts of colorful ingredients, carefully decorated and being transported
1600km away from home, it was really sweet for what she have done!

And It even comes with fruits and desserts!

Waking up at 4am!! (or earlier???) to prepare this meal before she catches her flight at 6am!!

After the meal, Pauline presents me this box of homemade mini cup cakes!

I took the big A cup cakes and shared the rest with the family!! 
 

What a fun way to start my birthday!!

What’s in the box?!

My new-found hobby is Tennis.

Have been learning Tennis from a private coach with a group of friends… and it has been lotsa fun. Some time after,  its time to  get my own Tennis Racquet too, to play on my own on free time other than classes. But since, i’m quite some noob, it’s hard for me to pick one, and i’m having a hard time scratching my head, deciding which one to buy…..

One fine day, he emailed me a “Poster” of a surprise for me.

今天Mail又来了一个包裹！

Surprise 竟然是很可爱的Pink Colour的Sanyo暖手蛋～

冬天时，Andrew常问我: “冻不冻啊？！暖不暖啊？！”

一直担心我会着凉，因为知道我非常怕冷。。。不停的照顾好我，确保我不冷，穿的暖暖的， 天天把一包包的warmer pack塞进我口袋里。。都不知那些warmer pack用了多少包呢！

这下子，有了这个玩儿，很可爱，又能在天气冷时保暖，真的很适合我哦～

Surprise Getaway to Bintan! 民丹島!!

So I got this special request from Pauline to reserve a Sat and Sunday for her during my sg visit on the 27th Feb,
knowing that she must had somewhere in mind so I agreed with her over the phone  
And so….here we go to Bintan!! Never been there and sure is an exciting experience for me!

There’s always a reward

That day, it rained so bad and made Pauline and I waited for 20mins for the rain to stop.  

At Khatib station waiting for the rain to stop,
we sat on the curb side waiting for the rain to stop, we talked, we gamed, 
we laughed, we people watch, and see poor people selling stuff…. 
Wonderful 20 mins.

Just before we got our “rescue” from SheMin’s ride to pick us up,
the rain stopped and we saw this beautiful rainbow showing in front of us.

So glad that we wait.  :*)

My Christmas Present :D

My 2008 Christmas Present… sweet pink & white Badminton Racket!

 Thanks to my Dear Darling Boy, Andrew that i’m able to spend Xmas in Hong Kong with him :*) as he got the air tix for me to fly to hk for the 2nd time this month , which is already the best Xmas gift i could have.

Adding to that, he also got me a Badminton Racket for Xmas! It’s pretty in white & pink, with ‘P’ initial on it too (supposedly to be the brand name).

Macau, again!

Here we go to Macau again, for Lillian and Anthony’s Wedding.
Pauline’s 3rd time in the last 2 yrs and its my 4th time in the last 2 years!
