Today we got a special guest, Mr. Caramel to join us! He was such a gentle dog and it was a pleasure hiking with him!

Baldie

My poor Shiro was shaved totally bald few weeks ago, all his cute fluffy white fur is gone! Why?! Because the poor thing couldn’t deal with the heat in Singapore and had so much rashes all over his body that lead to some infection. To save him from all the torture, we had to shave him bald and apply his medicine properly, mo matter how much we loved his fur!

First few days, he was still quite upset-looking. Probably knows he’s not as handsome anymore?

Shiro: "Why did they shave me bald.. now no girls would look at me.. :'("

中秋節在南灣!!

又一年，中秋節就更係同好朋友過….

  

西貢西灣一天遊!!

 

對於西貢既西灣真係又愛又恨，先有山長水遠既路程，再有北譚涌泊車既問題(好多時遲D去都無晒位),再要搭的士入西灣亭，然後行四十分鐘先會到達….之但係呢…西灣又真係香港小有既真真正正水清沙幼既沙灘，可以帶狗，有食物補給，有得租沙灘傘…可以話係絕無僅有!!

八月廿二日係Kannie 既生日，不過個日打左個九號風球…今日，我就帶左佢去九龍灣EMax (前九龍灣國際展貿中心)間 Pet Max!

Pet Max 係香港唯一一間係Mall入面，而又可以帶埋狗仔去既Pet Shop Complex, 大概有十間不同既獨立店子. 所有用品都應有盡有.

可以同狗仔一齊Shopping, 都幾好玩的. 不失為一個好活動呀!

 

 

 

最好玩既，更係可以同Kannie 影貼紙相啦!!!

Pok Fu Lam Country Park 薄扶林郊野公園 Part II

 

This post is to continue the last post: Pok Fu Lam Country Park 薄扶林郊野公園 Part I.
I wasnt able to complete it due to the rain and finally, a nice hot summer summer day is here and Kannie and I had another hike again!

So we started from the same spot and head up to the Peak! As you can see, the reservoir is so FULL! After 2 months of rain, I am sure Hong Kong’s 2008 water supply should not be a problem!

Dog Portrait Tips

Some people said dog portraits are hard, however, with the right tools and patience, taking pictures with animals are fun!  

To have the right tool, I would suggest to use of a flash light, higher ISO and a lens with a big aperture for a sharp and bright picture! This Picture was at ISO 400, a standard 50mm 1.8f lens with Flash on.

Tips:Remember to place the focus on the doggies eye, not the NOSE! unless you want some purposely effects.

Efa Hylyt Shampoo Review – Great Shampoo for allergenic Dogs!

The Schnauzers are common for having skin problem, so without doubt Kannie was one of the allergy sufferers too! During the summer time, he would get something like acne on his back, or blister like kind of scars on his body and that cause itchy-ness and sometimes there is even some kind of stinky smell on him!  After visiting the vet for a several time,  Karen and I found out a really good dog shampoo product that works like magic on Kannie.  Not a single scar, blister or acne-like-bump were found on him during this hot and humid 2008!

The shampoo is called the Efa Hylyt (How to pronounce?).  The dog shampoo is mild and could create lather easily.  It has a cute coconut smell (tanning oil smell?) but when Kannie is done with the bath, he is completely odor free and will left behind the clean fresh smell!

Lucky Money!

Yay! The 1st time i strike 4D!!!

Though it’s only Starters Prize and I’ve bet just small amount for fun while helping Ai Ai buy hers last Saturday!

I’ll consider that some extra ‘Lucky’ money. So all these amount of money came just in time, and it’s just enough to buy Bert & Ai the Air Tickets to Perth, Aussie I’m sure Dad & Mum is gonna enjoy this pre-planned trip later on.

and of cos, to buy a little gift for my dear son, Shiro too! The number is actually inspired by him!

So this little prize makes everyone a bit happier today!
