AP’s mini-Olympics 2008

Andrew is suffering from the Post Olympic Depression Syndrome, so we’ve decided to hold Our own ultra mini-Olympics 2008 !!! *giggles* Each of us will pick one event to compete with each other to be fair.

Andrew’s pick of event is Tennis, as I’m gonna take Tennis classes in October! For my friends would know, I’m quite hopeless with ball-games… it’s always hitting me, so I’d usually just avoid them. But this time, I’ve decided to pick to learn Tennis in proper. And as for my pick of event, 1200m run heat. Easy to practice and compete!

Since there’s only 2 competitors, gonna have Gold & Silver Medal award only, plus prize of our own! unless more friends would like to join us too~~

Ocean Park!

Besides the thousands and thousands of marine animals inside the Hong Kong Ocean Park, tenths of Rides and the 15 minutes long over the mountain cable car ride, one of the most interesting thing in Ocean Park has got to be visiting the 4 pandas!

Earlier in the year, we went to the Hong Kong Ocean Park and had a really fun day out there!
It was Pauline’s 2nd visit since her first visit HK, and during that time, she was sick
and the park didn’t really gave a good impression on her!
10 years later…. a revisit with her favorite one! Erm…me

係元朗既屏山文物徑不失為一個了解香港歷史既好去處. 點樣去我不多講喇…
公交路線 Wikipedia 有講而泊車位都好清楚方便

全條文物徑行晒大概要2小時，要影埋相既…四個鐘都好充足架啦!
當日我同Pauline 先去左 “屏山鄧族文物館暨文物徑訪客中心” 了解地型後就
逐一參觀!!

九龍灣 Pet Max – 可以同狗仔影貼紙相既地方!!

八月廿二日係Kannie 既生日，不過個日打左個九號風球…今日，我就帶左佢去九龍灣EMax (前九龍灣國際展貿中心)間 Pet Max!

Pet Max 係香港唯一一間係Mall入面，而又可以帶埋狗仔去既Pet Shop Complex, 大概有十間不同既獨立店子. 所有用品都應有盡有.

可以同狗仔一齊Shopping, 都幾好玩的. 不失為一個好活動呀!

 

 

 

最好玩既，更係可以同Kannie 影貼紙相啦!!!

SG Mount Faber Revisit!

Mount Faber sure do mean something to me.  Its the first place that I visited for my first SG adventure!
Since the San Katong Laksa Steamboat restaurant was just near by, I brought Pauline to revisit the place after 1.5 years time. Having the camera this time, sure theres gonna be some picture moments!

There is a few Merlion in Singapore… The biggest one I believed that is in the Sentosa, and the Medium size (plus puking) is located near the opening of the Singapore River and the smaller one…

The San Katong Laksa Steamboat

First of all, I would like to clarify that “Steamboat” and “Hotpot” are basically the same stuff….while Singapore likes to use the word steamboat, Hong Kong has been commonly called it hotpot Pauline and I calls it “SteamPot” !

2 of us were so hungry after a day at the Zoo!!

So finally I got a chance to try to San Katong steamboat laksa in Singapore! It was my treat for Auntie Helen’s birthday and since none of us had tried the Laksa Steampot, Pauline and I decided to go for it all together!

奧運文化廣場 – 同福娃影相!!

北京奧運好快就要完結了, 對於要同大受好評的2008奧運講Bye bye 真的有點唔捨得 就因為咁, 我同嘉琳就係奧運快要完結時就左去奧運文化廣場同D好好好得意既福娃影相!!!

今天好遲先放工. 又想係打風之前去同D福娃影相，所以知道只有30mins我同Karen都要去!!

 

位於維多利亞公園入面既奧運文化廣場，有野食,有野睇,有得玩,有大電視, 實在是觀看奧運的好地方!

The Miraculous long life iBook G3

Purchased in 2002 with my summer job pay in the SCU....this ibook has been working for 6+ years! She use it everyday and how possible for it to last so long?

So recently my sister had been struggling to go for the new MacBook or not.  Her only debate is that this iBook 600mhz is still running strong and it will be a waste replacing it!!  With a G3 600mhz processor and only 386mb of ram with Mac OS 10.4, its true that this machine do give a reasonable speed for her general word processing/internet and MSN!!

But well……I am still suggesting her to get the new MacBook for the new low price! The speed gain sure helps her to finish her work faster and better.  A gain in productivity and sure sounds more reasonable for wasting a working iBook than wasting her time, rite? hahaha evil brother evil me

hmm….What about my Powerbook G4 1Ghz?
Dont worry, i am still very happy with it

Singapore Flagged Mini!

Thanks Eileen and Zee Ping for the really cute gift!!
When Eileen told Pauline that she got something for me during my last SG visit, Pauline and I were scratching our head that what it could be.  Something only for me? What can it be?
And since Pauline and I were busy dating over the weekend, Eileen had been really nice and dropped it off at Pauline’s home!

Singapore Zoo! 新加坡動物園遊記!

一向都喜歡新加坡的公園建設, 行人路上總是有密密麻麻的大樹幫你遮風擋雨, 使這個一年365日都是夏天的地方帶來一點舒適  

新加坡動物園，真係好靚好好行!! 2530隻動物，大部份都是開放式的設計，睇又開心D, 影相又靚D 值得一讚

一朝早，多得She Min 借她的Suzuki Swift我用，我同Pauline先可以輕輕鬆鬆出門口!

 

大概 HK$100 既門票，換上4-6小時的玩樂, 我覺得真的是物超所值，到處都是細心的安排，有免費的動物show, 食物也不貴, 當天Pauline 媽媽為我地準備左飲品，所以我地都無係入面買.

印尼巴淡島遊記 Batam Island, Indonesia

正當香港有無數既離島我門可以去，而離開新加坡45分鐘船程的印尼巴淡島…是一個新加坡附近的一個低消費的Weekend getaway 好去處!

巴淡島是印尼一萬多個島之中既其中一個，也是最靠近新加坡的一個島嶼. 島上85%都是馬來人，而其它呢，就係中國人. 印尼當然係用印尼盾, $1港紙就對$1175, 當日我同Pauline就變成左百萬富翁!!

Indian Mee Goreng (Indian-styled Fried Noodles)

Since Ai Ai had just recovered from feeling unwell just today, I’ve decided to make lunch for everyone with the limited items left at home. So, flipping through ‘Periplus Mini’ Singapore Favourite Cookbook (supposedly bought for Andrew), found this simple Mee Goreng recipe! Pat loves this dish too~

So off i went to cook Mee Goreng for today’s lunch. Though the Preparation & Cooking time is said to be 25 mins in total, but i took a whole hour. Forgive me as i’m still a newbie in cooking.

Ran out of potato at home, so i replaced it with small prawns and diced chicken. Instead of green chilli for garnishing, I’ve used red chilli. Did not use any spring onion and cucumber as there is none. This time i think, I’ve put lesser tomato ketchup than needed, that’s why the colour is much lighter than it’s supposed to be. In result, mine looks more like Chinese fried noodle than Indian fried noodle. But nevertheless, it taste not that bad (i suppose)

Vroom Vroom!!

去年4月時，在香港和Andrew去了他最喜歡的Mongkok(旺角) Kwong Wa Street(廣華街) 。。。因為那里有他最喜愛的Remote-Control Cars(遙控車)。這次呢，我們是為了要買Tamiya TT-01, Mazda RX-7 Model的RC car而來的。

買了我們就趕緊回家拼我們的遙控車！
